  1. I reserve the right to take down, delete, or close my blog for any reason.
  2. I believe in the plurality of translation. I may translate stories that already have official or well-accepted fan translations purely for my own enjoyment.
  3. I typically keep Japanese honorifics for the games I am translating because they are set in Japan.
  4. Translation is not 1 to 1 and some of my interpretations will be present in the text. If you’d like to read the stories in their original format, please learn Japanese.
  5. I cannot guarantee that my translations are free of error nor that they fully capture all nuances in the original text.

permitted:

  • Sharing screenshots from my translations.
  • Including my translations for Twitter/BlueSky quote bots.
  • Modifying the text to fit a character limit for the above is fine.

prohibited:

Reposting my translations in full.

Profiting off of my translations.

Using my translations to train a large-language model.

Using my work for subtitles or lyric videos.

Plagiarizing my work onto a wiki.

Altering pronouns in my work to fit a wiki or masterlist’s style guide.

This mostly applies to Mizuki Akiyama and Arashi Narukami. I use she/her/hers pronouns for both of them.
