Nyahaha~☆ Here comes Sanjo Gin-chan!

One of the girls got hurt outside, could someone give her first aid~?

Oh oh! Well howdy-doo, transfer student! What are you doing here? You feelin' okay?

Is the nurse or a health committee member here? Like I said earlier, someone got hurt and they need treatment.

Ohh, you're taking over for your classmate who's in the health committee, huh? How admirable~ You're an upstanding citizen♪

But this is a bit of a problem... That means thaat you can't administer first aid, right? I mean, it's not your real job(?). What am I gonna do...

I mean, I do know how to administer first aid since I get hurt a lot when I do kendo. Plus when I go for a mountain retreat, it'd be terrible if I didn't know how to fend for myself.

When you're in the mountains, even a minor injury can be fatal. Tetanus is real scary, so I've learned all sorts of first aid techniques ♪

But the injury today is just a little different than usual. Ah, I mean,it's not like we have to call an ambulance, y'know~? It's just the "injured" person I mentioned is, uh, letme show you?

This fella right here, this mascot costume! He's called "Sage Daniel", do ya know him?

... ... ... ...Am I makin' any sense?

I'm sorry, I kinda suck at explainin' things. I tend to just go with the flow... Mm, well, how do I put this?

This mascot costume got a little damaged... Here, you see it around the foot? It tore and it's startin' to pull away.

I was pullin' off some flashy moves while warin' this ya see~ So of course it's gotten worn out and has some tatters here and there.

But to be totally honest,I was just borrowin' him~ I have to return it good as new, and I've been tryin' my best to take careof it...but I guess it's really startin' to show its age.

So that's why I'm in a pickle. I'd really like to properly mend this little guy's injuries~

Somehow I've gotten really attached to him, like we've been married for decades now~

Mm? You think it's weird I came to the nurse's office for this? I guess so~ He's not alive, is he? So he couldn't be treated in the infirmary ♪

Mm... But do we have anythin' like a sewin' club at our school... ... We don't even have anythin' like a fashion or a handicrafts club. I can't think of anyone who could repair a mascot costume.

If I had to pick someething, I guess it'd be the drama club. Though I try to avoid seein' Konan-chan. Seein' her so worn out now makes me feel so glum, ya see?

I wish I could have asked the person who made this costume to repair it, but it was kinda forced upon me, so I'm not really sure where it even came from.

I'm absent from school a lot, so I'm not well-acquainted with anyone besides other students, ya know? But it seems like a girl named Minami made this costume. Do you know her?

Eh, she's your childhood friend? And you guys are super close and in in the same class! Well that's a lifesaver! I'm glad you know so many people~♪

Well... ... ... Could you give this costume to that Minami girl? I'd be totally in your debt, so I'm countin' on ya ♪

Huh? Why don't I fix it myself...?

Hmm... So that Minami girl usually has her hands full, so you don't want to give her morework to do? Well that's real sweet of you to do as her childhood friend♪

Nyahaha~☆ But quit teasin' me, you really think I can sew? I'm not that kinda girl, so it'd be totally impossible!

Mmm... Well, I mean, I can handle sharp stuff pretty easily. But Japanese sword is pretty different from a needle or a pair of sewing scissors, yeah? I'm sure Tomo's been trained in this kind of thing~

I mean, you can see that I'm kind of a bumpkin! So that kinda small, detailed work is somethin' I can't do. The best I can do is probably prickin' my finger with a needle over and over again ♪

Hm...? You were frustrated 'cause you couldn't do anything but watch when she was sewin'? And you wanted to help by learnin' to sew?

So you've learning how to sew with a manual and you think you could do it yourself?

And that's why you wanna do it with me? Weelll, aren't you bein' unusually persuasive~

Nyahaha. What should I do? I mean, it sounds mighty fun to try sewin' with you. It kinda feels like I'm gettin' some top secret trainin' with ya and it fires me up!

Mm, but... I try to avoid anythin' that feels like I'm preparin' for marriage, it just reminds me of my troublesome destiny.

Ah, I was just talkin' to myself. Anyhow, runnin' from your destiny doesn't mean you'll actually escape it. If you face it head on, you might end up likin' the outcome after all~♪

I guess I won't knock it til I try it, so maybe I will give sewin' a shot~?

Do you have the supplies? Lend 'em to me and I'll give it my all! Let me see the textbook, too! Hmhm...? Nyahaha, this is pretty fun ♪

... ...Hmmm... I think I can do this. I don't think I could make an entire costume from scratch, but at least I could try to mend it?

Hmm, but if I do say so myself, I can't really believe you're a beginner... ...What's wrong? You look kinda surprised~ Do you think it's strange to see me actually sewin'?

Maybe you were thinkin', "Ohh, she's really pretty when she's quiet", or somethin' like that? People ssay that to me a lot, but I find it rude! Gin-chan is quite lovely whether she's sittin' still or runnin' her mouth, yeah?

... ...Nyahaha. But, still, if I'm always runnin' around and causing a ruckus, I'll burn myself out like a certain somebody. Sittin' down to relax and do some sewin' would probably be a good change of pace~♪

Do you think we could do more of these sewin' practice sessions together?

Just keep it a secret from Tomo and the others, or else they'll get jealous!
